This three-strou, 19,000 square foot office building in Maitland was named for the fort that occupied its site during the Seminole Indian Wars of the 1800’s. A well-forested park on the southern side of the property prompted RAHA to use mirror glass walls to double the image of greenery.
An existing privacy wall abutting the project’s northern property line was “de-selected” for such visual proliferation. Therefore, the non-reflective surfaces of clear glass and stucco at the northern first floor arcade serve to eliminate the undesirable reflection.
